Softly Grounded Photography is a space I created for fine art photography and visual storytelling — a place where I can explore texture, light and the quieter moments of life with intention and meaning.

Photography wasn’t always my main creative outlet. I came from a multimedia and visual art background, but over time the camera became the tool that felt most natural for expressing how I see and experience the world.

Living with multiple sclerosis changed the pace of my life and the way I move through it. At the same time, raising my daughter and watching her grow made me even more aware of how important it is to notice beauty in the everyday.

Together, those experiences shifted my perspective and gently redirected my creative path.

Instead of focusing on what changed, I found myself paying closer attention to what remained — light, texture, stillness and the small details that often go unnoticed. Photography became a way for me to capture those moments and share them with others.

That shift also led me to begin studying counselling, deepening my interest in how people experience the world and how creativity can help us process, reflect and reconnect. Softly Grounded Photography grew from that intersection of art, lived experience and a desire to create something honest and meaningful.

The gallery is built around two complementary bodies of work that form one evolving visual story.

My Artistic Expression is where I explore monochrome tones, abstract form, texture and composed stillness. These pieces allow me to focus on mood and feeling, creating images that exist as art rather than documentation.

Australia Through My Lens reflects my connection to place and environment. Through landscapes, roads and natural spaces, I capture moments that feel grounding and expansive at the same time — reminders of the beauty that exists when we slow down and really observe what’s around us.

Together, these collections form one gallery — two sides of the same creative vision.

My hope for people to feel comfortable and honest in front of my lens, or to feel a genuine connection to the work they see here, So I believe that same honesty has to exist behind the lens as well.

This space is built on authenticity, reflection and a willingness to notice beauty even in quieter or more challenging moments of life. The images I create aren’t only about what I see, but about what I feel — and what I hope others might feel too.

Softly Grounded Photography will continue to grow through carefully curated releases, with each new collection adding to the evolving story. All works are available as digital artwork and premium print pieces for collectors and interiors worldwide.

At its heart, this space exists to show that even when life throws unexpected changes our way, there is always beauty to be found — sometimes in the vast landscape, and sometimes in the smallest, quietest details.
